Mr. AbdulRahman Al-Mana

AbdulRahman Al-Mana is a city and regional planner working for the General Planning Section under the Urban Planning Department at the Ministry of Municipality in Doha, Qatar. AbdulRahman has a keen interest in historic preservation, reviving architectural and urban practices that are native to the Arabian Gulf, and the role of urban governance in promoting sustainability. AbdulRahman currently works on revising regulations for heritage sites in Qatar, as well as reviewing master-planned mega projects. AbdulRahman graduated from Cornell University’s College of Architecture, Art, and Planning, with a Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Studies and a minor in Near Eastern Studies.
