Dani Kabbani is the managing partner of the Doha office of Eversheds Sutherland, an international law firm with more than 70 offices in the world. Dani works with government bodies and companies on a range of commercial and corporate matters including joint ventures, M&A, funds, IPOs and listings. He has extensive experience advising oil and gas as well and construction companies on project and finance related agreements and has assisted numerous joint venture companies in their negotiations with both the public and private sector. He is a professor of law at the Sorbonne University in Paris where he teaches the LLM program on the Laws of the Arab World.

Dani has participated in the drafting of the Public Private Partnership Law as well as the Moveable Assets Security Law among other laws and regulations in Qatar.

Dani advised the Ministry of Municipality on the Qatar Real Estate Strategy and in relation to a series of laws to attract foreign real estate investors and to provide protection to real estate buyers including the set-up a of a Real Estate Regulatory Authority.

Dani also advised the Ministry of Finance on improving the State of Qatar’s ranking in the World Bank Ease of Doing Business Report and on encouraging foreign direct investments into Qatar through improved business practices and PPP projects.

He is currently advising the Public Works Authority (“Ashghal”) on the first ever BOT in Qatar for the financing, construction and operation of a wastewater treatment plant as well as other PPP projects including four public school PPPs.
